Exactly two hundred years ago the "Staatliche Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg" was established. Since that time "Nymphenburg" is kwown as the finest quality of household and art figurine porcelain. During the war the plant suffered heavy damage; but the treasured models and the technical equipment were saved. Production was resumed.
The whole process of manufacturing china is by hand. Master artisans pass on to the next generation the art of kneading, turning, and finishing the porcelain.
