After a forced recess for 12 years the Freiburg Passion Play resume performances.
As in Oberammergau, Christ's Passion is dramatized. The play begins with Jesus entering Jerusalem, then it show the Last Supper, the Trial before Pilate, and ends with the Crucifixion.
Thousands of spectators from all parts of the Ruhr saw the first Passion Play in the British Zone.

b. Water Hygienics
In Berlin all waters are being examined for bacteria. The Institute for Water and Air Hygiene in Berlin-Dahlem takes samples from the rivers, lakes and bathing establishments and also the water pipes of the households.
