a. Trial of a Poisoner
One of the most sensational criminal cases since the war is brought before the Cologne tribunal. 36-year-old Irmgard Swinka-Kuschinsky is accused of five murders and ten attempted murders. d. The Inner Mission
More and faster help for the poor is the aim of the Union for Inner Mission which has organized its Munich distribution centre for clothing and food gifts. The gifts come mainly from American and Swiss churches and organisations. This establishment also has a school for baby nurses and a home for babies. After the theoretical schooling the practice: the babies who are cared for here are orphans or children of working mothers. Baby doctors control the health of the little ones. 04. The German Industrial Show in New York

According to General Clay it is expected that the basic law will be effective on May 15th. The elections for the Federal Republic in Germany will be in July.
