01 the Economic Council in Frankfurt its activity ended last meeting of the Economic Council with his 40th General Assembly.
In the final speech, President Köhler said that the Council of economic advisers in the course of his occupation have passed over 170 laws and technically and organisationally led the rebuilding of the economy in the double zone in the way.

3rd in Bremen: 850 athletes to 32 titles In the Weserstadion in Bremen held the German Championships with the participation of 850 athletes of the Western zones. Foreign youngsters help rebuild this great youth program. At Eschershausen in the British Zone they help to build up an international youth camp. The sailing ship "Germany" is a romantic spot in Bremen harbour. The charge is 30 Pfennig for one night - in a hammock. The youth hostel on the North Sea island of Wangerooge is a 6-floor-high tower. One million young people lived in these hostels last year in 4.000 beds and the number still increases.
