Basket Ball Champions
One of Switzerland's best basketball teams, the B.C. Lausanne, visited Southern Germany on a nine-days tournament. Here the Swiss team - white shirts - play against the German Basketball champion MTSV Schwabing. The Swiss team played seven times in nine days. Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Darmstadt, Stuttgart, Augsburg and Munich were beaten without difficulty. But MTSV Schwabing stopped the Swiss series of victories and won 23 to 18, which is the first international victory since the war by a German basketball team. The beautiful and fast game demonstrated clearly the high quality of both teams.
