01 UN troops on the 38th parallel Republic Korea free again!
The Communist aggression in the Republic of Korea has collapsed. The victorious troops of the UN pursue the fleeing associations of the attacker in the direction across the 38th parallel, the boundary between the free and the Communist Korea.
Crushed and broken are the remnants of the Red Army of aggression in the prison camp.
Seoul, the capital of the independent Republic, is free again. But the war has left serious traces in the once-thriving city.
Incessantly American transport aircraft with supplies and fresh troops land on the Kimpo airfield.

Celebrity guests: Ms. Heuss, the wife of the German President, Mrs. McCloy and Miss Woods Mall, the head of the Conference.
Women from 14 Nations had come to Germany to take part in this important Conference. The dominant theme was: the personal responsibility of the woman in the questions of the present, it was an international conversation that divided the multiple problems in 5 working groups: home and family, education, social and Church welfare, employment and public and political affairs.
Among the guests of Honor: Dr. George Shuster, the US Regional Commissioner for Bavaria and the Bavarian Minister-President, Dr. Hans Ehard.

01. UN-Troops at the 38th Parallel

Republic of Korea Freed
The Communist aggression on the Republic of Korea has collapsed. a. Nobel Prize for Dr. Bunche
Dr. Ralph Bunche, the famous American scholar and statesman, was presented with the Nobel Peace Prize 1950.
Dr. Bunche has worked for United Nations since 1946, He solved with splendid results the Palestine conflict.
Dr. Bunche is the first negro to receive this high decoration. His little son presented him with hand-painted congratulations.

b. Berlin Constitution
The new Berlin constitution is ratified. Berlin is now the 12th land of the German Bundes Republic. Oberburgo-master Reuter said at the ceremony which was held in the Schoenberg City Hall. Original sound "From now on we will be able to manage Berlin's future based on the new constitution".

c. Paul Gr. Hoffman Retires
Paul Hoffman, former head of the European Recovery Program, said good-bye to his colleagues at a ceremony in Washington. The distinguished administrator was heartily applauded. William Foster, Hoffman's deputy, was appointed his successor. George Marshall greeted the former and the new head of the great Recovery Program.

d. 50 Years Zugspitz Observatory
The Zugspitz Observatory is 50 years old - formerly a hut, now a strong-hold of science. A medal was presented to distinguished scientists, who had already served at this observatory before the Zugspitz-Train was built.

A festive beginning of the German Industry Pair in Berling. American High Commissioner McCloy opened the George Marshall House. Some hundred guests of honour had come to Berlin from Germany and abroad. Bundes President Heuss then opened the Industry Fair at the Radio Tower. Paul Hoffman, the former Administrator of the European Recovery Program, presented a message from President Truman. Original sound "Our aid will continue for we are confident of the eagerness of the German people and the republic to join the free people of the world in the defence of all that we cherish". The visitors from all over the world then visited the 10 great exhibition halls. British visitors came by bus from London. Old friends and new business partners from Berlin, Western Germany and many other countries met at the different booths. According to President Heuss' speech, this Industry Fair is also meant to show to the 18 millions of Germany in the Eastern Zone, what a free nation and free economy areable to produce.
