During the second half the German team became better, and a sudden indirect pass led to a goal which, however, the arbitrator did not allow. Only 15 minutes before the end Germany, through Haferkampf scored a well-earned run. Shortly before the end the Turks surprised with a break-through and another goal. The game ended 2:1 for Turkey.
