In constantly sterile machines, the milk is purified, pasteurized and enriched with vitamins by ultra-violet rays. This factory, the most modern in Europe was built with 2 million D-mark from the ERP, two third of the entire cost.

e. The 17th Tac. Recon. Wing Ground Echelon in Bremerhaven
More reinforcement of US defense troops arrived in Europe: in Bremerhaven officers and soldiers of the Tactical Reconnaissance Wing, Ground Echelon, of the US Airforce arrived. 03. Garmisch:

Festive Closing of the Winter Sports Week
The last test of the German winter-sports' elite before the start of the Olympic Games in Oslo came to an end. The countryside around Garmisch showed all its glamour as the champions fought for the pre-Olympic decisions. Ossi Reichert, No. 4, became third in the women's slalom, but Evi Lanig was 3/10 sec. faster and became second. And then, Mirl Buchner came over the track, 5/10 sec. quicker than Evi Lanig.
