01 Schleswig In Northern Germany, only a few kilometres from the Danish border, lies the city of Schleswig. This Germanic settlements have existed already around the year 400. The "Nydam boat", a sea-going rowing boat by 23 m length, bronze swords, axes, Spears and clay vases are certificates from this period.
